Have You Seen Carly's Grandfather?

One excellent episode of the iCarly show was when Carly's grandfather threatened to take Carly back to live with him and Carly's grandmother. Carly has been living with her older brother in Seattle through the show so far and while her brother is a bit eccentric Carly seems to be very happy with him.

When their grandfather found out about an incident that happened at his grandchildren's apartment in Seattle, he became upset and immediately went to Seattle to tell Carly and her brother he did not approve of their stunts and planned to take Carly home with him. Both Carly and her brother were hurt by this news and tried to convince their grandfather that everything was fine.

However, the grandfather did not believe Carly's older brother was able to take care of her until the very last moment before they were about to leave for the grandfather's home. In spite of Carly's brother being a bit flakey, he had a long detailed list of all the things Carly needed to keep her healthy and safe. This stunned the grandfather that his grandson paid so much attention to Carly and knew so many things about Carly that the grandfather himself did not. The grandfather relented and allowed Carly to stay in Seattle with her brother to everyone's relief.

Do You Know Which iCarly Episode This is?

Can you name the iCarly Episode below? Did you watch it? This ever happened to you?? Let us know!! :)

Carly's best friend has a new boyfriend, who Carly does not like. He is rude and immature. The episode focus on the relationship between Carly and her friend, with an emphasis on this new boyfriend.

Carly really dislikes this boy, but does not express her disapproval for fear of hurting her best friend's feelings. Carly is torn because this boy makes her friend happy, and she does not want to cause that happiness to end. This conflict is effective to viewers because it presents a fairly common problem that everyone experiences during life at one point or another.

The show continues with Carly wanting to rehearse for her popular internet video blog. This rehearsal is not happening as Carly plans because her friend is spending all of her time with her boyfriend. This bothers Carly, and only adds to her dislike of her friends boyfriend. So Cal decides to call her friend's boyfriend over to her brother apartment to talk to him about giving her friend more free time so she can rehears with her. Her friend's boyfriend thinks that Carly has called him over so they can make out, and tries to kiss Carly. Carly rejects him and makes him leave.

Again Carly is torn between telling her friend. Carly decides not to tell her friend. Carly finally gets her best friend to rehearse for their blog. Her friend bring her boyfriend to the rehearsal, which only added to the tension level. The rehearsal is happening upstairs. Carly goes downstairs and talks to one of her male friends about her situation. Her friend comes downstairs and hears the talk.

This is ironic and adds to the suspense of the show. During the rehearsal Carly's friend decides to end the relationship with her boyfriend, and does so by hanging him by his underwear for excess of three hours. The show ends with the two friends becoming closer and the cheating boyfriend still hanging.

Miranda Cosgrove ( Carly ) Snip-It

Miranda Cosgrove is one of the better young actresses working today. Though not as popular as, say, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, her acting chops appear to be much better. She first came to national attention as a smart alecky stuck-up student in Jack Black's 'School of Rock'. Now, she has her own show on Disney called 'iCarly' and it seems to be a hit considering the network has reportedly called for 40 new shows. Miranda's character on 'iCarly' bears no resemblance to her character in 'School of Rock' showcasing a bit of range that most of her more popular Disney peers such as Raven Simone, Miley Cyrus and Jamie Speers simply have not shown.

iCarly Scoop

Nickelodeon's iCarly is a fun, teen/pre-teen situation-based comedy that revolves around the website show of two young girls named Carly and Sam. Their goal is become the most popular website show online by featuring the feats of their watchers, as well as sometimes taking requests that get them in trouble. The two girls are accompanied by Carly's older brother Spencer (with whom she lives with), and friend Freddie (who has a crush on her). The two girls get their start with the show by accidentally airing a set of talent show auditions. They are given the task as a punishment. This punishment, however, turns out to be the perfect start to their web show and it's ongoing popularity.
